My Story

Hello, I’m Fiona. I would like to work with people who want to improve their awareness of their body-mind connection, working on a deeper level to cultivate a stronger understanding of themselves, to be the best version they can be in alignment with who they are & show up in the world exactly as that.

I will use all of my training & my own personal experience to offer you a unique amalgamation of modalities & assist you along your journey.

I’m a sensitive soul with a very strong interest in the body- mind connection. That interest began as a child but deepened when I trained as a body worker fifteen years ago. I loved it & leaned more towards the holistic side when I graduated but unfortunately due to burnout I had to take a change of tact.

Through working as an Aesthetic therapist I began practicing yoga as a way to deal with a stressful job & the impact that was having on my mental & physical well being.

I became pretty obsessed if I’m honest. Every morning without fail I travelled across London at 6am to practice before I got on with a busy day of seeing clients. Later on I decided I wanted to deepen my knowledge & embarked on my 200 hour teacher training.

Shortly after I found myself quitting my full time job to work part time as a yoga studio supervisor and teaching on the side in my tiny flat and the studio I  trained in.

Since then I have done my yin training with my wonderful teacher Sarah Lo and  have been afforded the opportunity to assist Sarah on numerous occasions. I later trained in trauma sensitive yoga & have a great interest in how trauma affects the whole being & ways to begin to help heal on some levels.

I have experience working in many different environments including studios , recovery centres, hostels/temporary accommodation & home visits in both London and Dublin for small groups & one to one. Of course online too.

With my continuing thirst for learning, a couple of years ago I embarked on my  journey to becoming a Sound meditation teacher with Leo Cosendai, something that has been a major part of my own growth & development.

I completed a foundation (pranayama) breath work course with the gorgeous Nicola Price which has served me well both personally & to weave into my classes,  there is such deep & healing power to be found in the breath.

I have become attuned to Reiki in the lineage of Usui by Ann Traynor.

I’m happiest when spending time with loved ones, having meaningful  conversations, spending time in nature, hiking & sea swimming, dancing like no one is watching, listening to music, preparing food, eating & of course sharing the gifts of yoga & sound.

“When the sun sets into the dark night, know it cannot stay that way forever. The sun has to rise again for it gives the Mother life. The birds will sing, the flowers will dance as they bask in his light. His reflection glistening on the vast oceans and we come home to ourselves once more, for we are the sun, we are the moon, we are the stars and the cosmos. Connected to Mother more than most know. But perhaps that is to blame for so much disconnect. SO come home, come home, come home.”
